Vulnerable or Valuable?
One immigrant-owned company is growing and providing the dignity of work to refugees from around the world. Read their story.
We are 80+ staff joining with over 125 local churches and 800 volunteers to serve 5,500 refugees and immigrants each year. World Relief began offering services in DuPage County in 1979 and then opened an additional office in Aurora in 1999. In community with the local church, World Relief DuPage/Aurora envisions the most vulnerable people transformed economically, socially and spiritually.
On January 27th, an executive order was signed that placed a four month moratorium on the arrival of new refugees to the United States. During this time, WRDA will lose critical funding for its work serving refugees in partnership with local volunteers and churches. By giving now, you can help ensure that we can continue to serve refugees who are already here in our community and maintain the core of our ministry so that we can immediately begin welcoming new refugees one the moratorium is lifted.
