• #GivingTuesday

There’s Black Friday, Cyber Monday and now #GivingTuesday---a global day of giving on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.  This year, World Relief DuPage/Aurora [WRDA] is calling their neighbors to action by holding a Good Neighbor Kit [GNK] Drive on #GivingTuesday.  A GNK provides all of the small household items that refugee families desperately need upon arrival.

  • Citizenship and Integration Grant Program

For those of us born in the United States, citizenship is not something we think about on a regular basis. However, for the refugee or immigrant who has fled their country due to war, oppression or violence, the pursuit of citizenship is always at the forefront because it means having a country to call home again.

Welcome to World Relief DuPage/Aurora!

We are 104 staff joining with 75 churches and 750 volunteers to serve 5,500 refugees and immigrants each year. World Relief began offering services in DuPage County in 1979 and then opened an additional office in Aurora in 1999. Our strategy is to create, lead and continually improve services in partnership with local churches and the community to help the most vulnerable be transformed economically, socially and spiritually.

Celebrating our 70th and 35th Anniversaries

World Relief began as the church's outreach to the vulnerable around the globe in 1944 and in 1979 we began serving immigrants in the U.S. through refugee resettlement.  This year join us in celebrating how God has used World Relief and the local church to STAND for the vulnerable.
